A tribute to one of my favouritist films ever! I'm a huuuuuge Mad Max fan (maybe that's why I moved to Melbourne!!)so thought I'd have a go at making old Melly-boy from the days when he was cool! Still early days, obviously his head still needs a fair bit of tweaking, not to mention decent hair! The rest is pretty straightforward though. Can't wait for the new movies!

Thought I'd better get with the cool kids and try rendering with V-Ray. Couple of renders of some of the characters I built for Marvel SuperHero Squad. Thought it might be fun to make them look like the original plastic figures. I'm sure there's loads of settings I'll need to get my head around to improve the renders though. These are all the Xbox 360/PS3 rez models.

Epoch. by Uppercut Games Character Models

I've wanted to try getting a 3d print done for a while, so started building this whilst mucking about with hard surface sculpting in Zbrush. Sort of a Gears of War/ Space Wolves berzerker type. Still a lot to do, including a huuuge cleaver type sword. Not particularly original I know, but to quote from Frank N Furter, "I didn't make him for you!" =P

Latest version of the Exorcyste. I'm going to put him on hold for a while as I've got a fair bit of "stylized" character stuff and I reckon I should do something a bit more "realistic". Eventually I intend to give him a Darksiders-inspired "painterly" sort of texture. Veeery loosely based on an awesome concept by Drew Morrow that I badgered him into drawing for me.
